Momentary Pushbutton
rotary/pushbutton switch?
i’m looking for a Rotary Switch that you can also push in to actuate a Momentary Switch.
i’ve looked everywhere.. a switch like this may not exist, but for the product i’m currently working on it would sure make my job easier!
checked mcmaster with little success. it seems like it should be a relatively common item.
i’m designing a consumer product intended for mass production, so these will need to be standard parts.
if push comes to shove i can design the controller to incorporate a rotary switch and a tactile switch on the same PCB, but everything would be easier if it existed in one product..
You’re looking for a rotary encoder with a push tact switch. These aren’t the easiest to find, but I’ve linked a few of companies that make them.
