General Purpose
What can I mix to get a general purpose pesticide and fungicide?
I would like to mix Daconil, BT and Triazicide but I’m afraid one might cancel out the other. I don’t have time to spray them individually or I’ll be spraying every other day. Does anyone know if these three are compatible or is there something else that will do the trick. My biggest problems are Squash Bugs and Brown Rot.
Most fungicides and insecticides are compatible and can be mixed together. Read every darn word on the label for both, if they are not compatible, it will say it somewhere in those booklets attached to the containers.
Bt I’m just not sure. I would think the Daconil might actually hurt the Bt since it is a Bacillus. I think I’d call my country extension agent and ask him/her. Remember, unless the Bt is the stabilized formula, most of it breaks down quickly in sunlight.
I’d have to have to be growing squash for market before I’d break out the triazicide………for home gardens, I’d be looking at something else for those nasty squash bugs. Just me.
